Fleetmatics had a powerful service to tell—real-time GPS tracking for fleet and mobile workforces that gave business owners insight into how their vehicles (and drivers) were really performing. The challenge? Most small and mid-sized business owners didn’t know this kind of technology existed—or how it could help their bottom line.
Enter The Truck Whisperer, a quirky character with the uncanny ability to “talk” to trucks and learn who was speeding and who was slacking, who was top-notch and who needed a tune up. Sadly, The Truck Whisperer wasn’t real—but Fleetmatics was. This campaign turned complex technology into something simple, memorable, and entertaining—proving once again that B2B doesn’t have to be boring. It just has to speak your language. Or in this case, your truck’s.
