One of the very first assignments at my first job as a “young gun” at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York was for Embassy Suites. The brief was simple: show business travelers the benefit of a two-room suite in a half-page newspaper ad. No frills, no film crew, just sharp thinking and clean execution. More than twenty years later, the work still holds up. That’s the power of a smart insight and a simple, strong concept.
